Design Process 3

This week, I would like to empathizing myself in different perspective to feel how others feel about 'time not enough'. I will start by different ages people.

1. If I were a kid that only 7 years old......
I want to go school everyday because I can meet my lovely friends in school. But I hope there is no homework for me because I want to watch Sponge Bob.

2. If I were a 15 years old secondary student......
I hope my parent will understand what I want to do, I don't want to become a top student, I don't want to study law in future, I don't want to have all this exam! I just want to become a famous star and show my talent to this world.

3. If I were a office lady.......
This is not what I want to do. This is not my ideal job. Why I have to suffer like this? I really wish I could pursue my dream and working as a designer.

4. If I were a mother/father......
Even though this is not what I want to do, I must keep on going with this situation now. I have to take good care of my family. Dream? What is dream? Reality is what matters the most. I don't have extra time to think about it.

5. If I were an old folk......
Young is good. I can't even walk properly now. I should try my best and never give up at that moment, if not, maybe I would become a doctor that time. How I wish time could turn back and start over again.

In every position, every moment, time is so important for us. But, time is not enough for us to do what we really want.

I found that almost everyone feels that 'time not enough'. In order to solve this 'illusion', what can we do? I have learn that we should set a goal in life and simplify our life from this 2 website. Therefore, we can achieve our dreams but not getting lost in the way of pursuing it.

The value I get from this 2 magazine is that we should think and make a decision clearly for what we want and need to do.

Design Process 2

This time, I will talk about time is not enough for personal matters.

Everyday, we have so many things to do. And yet, the things couldn't be finished in just one day. Time is really not enough for us. For me, especially I have not enough time to eat and I have not enough time to sleep.

From the picture above, we can feel that how busy they are until they have no time to eat, to sleep and to cook.

But anyway, out of these problems, some "experts" have invented creative and funny way to solve it such as......

Although they look really funny, but they are still an interesting and creative design. For example, you can use the food hanger to have it hanged around your neck so you can enjoy your burger while doing your task.

Besides that, Japanese feels that time is not enough until they can perform some "unexpected" action in their daily life. They are trained to be fast and finish things in the fastest way. Let's enjoy and learn how they make things done in short time.

Japanese also uses their creative and smart brain to produce food that can be cooked fast and enjoy in a short period. One of the most common example is definitely the instant noodle.

In life, everyone is busy for own personal matters that we might not be able to understand. But undeniable, time is not enough is no more an imagination, it is a fact.

Time NOT Enough

What is the biggest problems that people faces nowadays?
Absolutely! Time is never enough.

I feel exactly the same! How about you?

If you go to google and type "time not enough", you will get 410,000,000 results in 0.30 seconds. So undeniable, it has been the biggest problems that troubles us everyday.

Besides that, there are a lot of books, movie, album and music talking about "time not enough". People express and show their feeling of busy through different perspective and ways.
Music ---- "Time not enough"

Book ---- "There's not enough time"

Recently, campaign and talks are popularly held and mostly, their topics are related to "time management". Besides that, there are a  lot of books are talking about "time management". Through these situation, I am sure everyone has no enough time.
Books of time management

Time is invisible but it is everywhere. Every minute that we spend is considered as time. In the morning of a day, we have to think about what should I do today? What should I finish today? Some people even plan their schedule one week or one month before. It is because people are too busy. Every second and every minute is precious to us.

We don't have enough time to spend with our family, friends and those we love. Because things will never be done while we have only limited time.

As a student of NAFA, time is really not enough when we need to cope with so many subjects that we never learn before. It is so tired but this is the path that we choose. So no matter how hard it is, we still need to work hard and face it.

For the end of my journal, here is a picture that really speak out my feelings!
